Apollo is always keen to have community involvement within projects to help bring a sense of place to the development.
We have found that involvement with the community helps reduce vandalism as the community takes ownership of the scheme and thus respect the development. Also, early information from the local community can save time and effort in site identification, characteristics of sites, history and also planning decisions in the past.
Apollo have also involved community groups, artists and voluntary organisations in past developments and invested in community bus services, public art, school participation and are developing space specifically for voluntary groups in urban outreach areas.
