Apollo recently secured an appointment to work with the Carlton Medical Practice to develop a new surgery for them to replace their existing surgery just to the north of Bradford city centre.

The Carlton Medical Practice is a 4 GP Practice serving around 6,000 patients.  Their existing surgery was originally a domestic dwelling which was converted to a Doctor's surgery over 100 years ago. The end of terrace building, despite numerous alterations and an extension, is no longer satisfactory or appropriate for current day needs and circumstances.

Work is underway with building design options and securing a suitable site.  It is anticipated that a planning application can be made before the summer and that building works can commence later this year to provide a modern new building to enable the practice to look towards service development oportunities and to enjoy a new modern working environment.

This project is being managed by Richard Drew, Development Director, who is based at Apollo's northern office in Leeds.  This project follows the successful completion of a new facility in Shipley and more recently completion of a surgery in Ripponden with another large scheme under construction in Heckmondwike.
