Richard Drew BSc MRICS - Development Director

Richard joined Apollo in 2003, bringing with him over 15 years experience of commercial development gained from working with national developers and food retailers.

Richard's career started in the retail sector with Safeway Plc and after a period working in London for Crest Nicholson Properties, rejoined Safeway in 1990. For 10 years, Richard developed over 65 food retail schemes across the country as Development Director, heavily involved with the strategy and development of the store expansion programme. He then moved on and joined Thornfield Properties, based in Leeds, where he was responsible for a number of major town centre, mixed use, regeneration projects.

Richard's role with Apollo has included the completion of schemes at Hessle (near Hull) and in Leeds, as well as driving the development programmes for the two NHS LIFT companies in Barnsley and Doncaster. Now being away from the LIFT market, Richard's role is dedicated to 3PD, where his recent success has seen the development of a 2600 sqm scheme in Shipley (near Bradford) and working on an active pipeline of new schemes across the region.

Last year Richard became a Director of the business and will expand the company's activities across the northern region. He lives in Harrogate with his wife and three teenage children and enjoys golf, walking, music and travel.
