Two practical examples of Apollo's values in action are Sustainable Development ie. ensuring that the design of buildings, their energy use and their whole-life costs maximise their environmental and economic sustainability. Measures include:

• Use of grey water
• Rainwater recycling
• Use of brown land
• Green Travel Plans
• Sedum roof and timber frame construction
• Renewable energy and biomass boilers

Our specifications promote the use of recycled materials. Ceilings use mineral fibre recycled products and floor coverings use recycled plastics and reclaimed building materials including timber feature panels. In addition, we use low energy light fittings, natural ventilation, natural light maximisation and heat recovery to support the sustainability aenda.
