Johnny Dryburgh

Managing Director

Johnny Dryburgh is an Incorporated Member of the Chartered Institute of Building. He has over 30 years experience working in the property sector in the UK.

Following graduation on his Building Technology and Management course, Johnny spent the early part of his career working at senior levels in the family construction business.

In April 2000, Johnny joined Primary Medical Property as Scottish General Manager. Since then with Apollo he has completed projects with a value of £35m throughout Scotland, including the first 3PD scheme in Greater Glasgow,  the first biomass fuelled Primary Care Centre completed in the UK, and the latest 3PD scheme in Greater Glasgow.  This was also the first Primary Care scheme in NHSGG&C to have achieved the BREEAM 'Excellent' environmental standard.

In 2005, Johnny was appointed Managing Director of the UK Capital Projects business, bringing his design and quality led integrated development and procurement methodologies to the wider business. He has recently completed the development of a new regional office for Apollo in Glasgow, and has been closely involved in delivering the large, innovative, multi-user, Beacon Centre for Health project in Swansea.

Johnny lives in Glasgow.  He enjoys sailing and fly fishing on the west coast of Scotland, accompanied by his Lucas Terrier, Jessie.
