Development services

At Apollo, we deliver a full, turnkey bespoke service beyond GP development. Apollo works in partnership with our GP practice clients, being fully responsible for all aspects of project risk and cost. We deliver purpose-built primary care properties to provide a vast amount of healthcare services that reflect the needs of the location. We are here to make the process run as smoothly as possible for the GP’s. We personally invest in the growth of every GP development from the very start to the end. GP Development From Start to Finish

  • To start the process we’ll accurately assess the needs and aspirations of your GP practice, recommending the best approach to secure the long term success of your service.
  • Produce a Business Case suitable for any specific project (new building or extension) based on our experience and understanding of the primary care market.
  • Assist with the securing of appropriate funds from the NHS/CCG/Local Health Boards; revenue, capital and one-off transactions costs.
  • We gather a delivery team and take responsibility for the project team of consultants to design and construct a technically compliant and sustainable property solution.
  • Manage the development process and be fully responsible for all the project costs and risks, making regular visits to the site to ensure everything is running smoothly.
  • We will update GP’s monthly on the progress, Apollo is fully involved with the GP’s to give them any guidance and answer any questions they have along the way.
  • Integrate complementary health service providers into a new facility such as Pharmacies.
  • Ensure that there is a cost-effective and affordable exit strategy for your GP practice in place for the disposal of the existing premises following relocation.
  • Offer help and assistance with the relocation and moving in the process to ensure a smooth transition from the old to the new GP practice building.

Covid Compliant Buildings

Apollo is currently at the forefront of delivering state of the art medical facilities where we have had to adapt our approach to building design in response to the Covid pandemic. As part of our covid-compliant GP development, some of the new approaches to design include:

  • Clear zoning within our buildings provides for ‘hot zones’ allowing clinicians to see potentially infected patients without compromising the continued operation of a building.
  • Inclusion of separate entrances to a building with remote door entry systems, which help our clients with their patient segregation strategies, making social distancing easier.
  • Reception desk designs now incorporate screens that help keep reception staff safe from potential sources of infection, which mirrors the approach taking in a retail environment.

Why Us…

The Apollo team is highly experienced and technically skilled across all the property disciplines needed to successfully develop bespoke Primary Care properties across the UK.

The acquisition by Assura gives Apollo greater resource and wider UK coverage which will allow us to progress schemes quicker while maintaining our core values.

The Primary Care properties we develop at Apollo are of exceptionally high quality. We are committed to sustainability, using renewable energy sources such as solar panels, rainwater harvesting and most recently, Electrical Vehicle Charging Points.
